Teddy Breedlove is a textile artist based in New York City. He has a background in Furniture and Surface Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD, 2021).
His work explores textiles as an “Alternative Canvas” creating statement pieces that blur the lines between art and design.
His work draws inspiration from the materials at hand, reimagining familiar forms into one-off works of art. His material choice is carefully collected, prioritizing the highest-quality repurposed, deadstock, and vintage textiles and leathers. His goal is to celebrate these materials and bring a new life into our everyday familiar objects.
